Mission:
The Women's Giving Circle of Alexandria pools intellectual and financial resources with a strategic purpose to serve the Children, Youth and Families of Alexandria.

The goals of the WGCA are to:- Increase the extent to which Alexandria women understand community needs and solutions, invest in those solutions, and learn about and participate in volunteer opportunities throughout the community.
- Create a network of diverse women that facilitates the scharing of intellectual capital, financial and other resources to benefit the community.
- Make a significant and sustainable impact through initiatives that Prepare Alexandria's Children for Success.

The WGCA seeks innovative approaches and solutions to Alexandria's high-priority issues through collaboration with city and state government, the private sector, ACT and other philanthropic resources.

Rally support for collective giving through a matching grants program; (ACT)Make participation easy and flexible;Make participation meangingful for those with time, expertise and interest;Target incremental donations that produce incremental value for our community by collaborating with key constituents, leveraging resources, sharing intellectual capital and pooling donations to confront an important issue in Alexandria.
